Admissions, Fees & Financing your EMBA
Applicants should meet the following admissions standards:
1. A bachelor’s degree or international equivalent from an accredited university
2. At least 8-10 years of experience is preferred
3. Minimum age of 30 years old
4. Candidates with high level responsibility and international experience
5. Maturity and motivation to succeed in this International MBA program
6. Proficiency in oral and written English
How to apply
Step 1: Submit a Preliminary Online Application
1.1) With your personal details, recent employment history, and education history (Free)
Step 2: Application consultation
2.1) A member of the Admission Team will contact you to discuss your suitability for the program and guide you through the next steps.
Step 3: Complete Formal application
3.1) Apply online via Cal State MBA Application form
3.2) Submit Academic transcripts and certificates and/or professional qualifications, Resume, NRIC (Singaporeans and PRs) or Passport and Employment visa for foreigners
3.3) Passport size color photo
3.4) SGD $200.00 application fee (non-refundable & subjected to GST)
3.5) The Admissions Committee may ask for two referees who are familiar with your work. It is ideal if your recommendations are your immediate superior(s) who can give an insight to the Committee on you as an employee.
3.6) #TOEFL or IELTS scores: The MBA program is conducted entirely in English and it is essential that students be proficient in written and oral English if they are to be successful in the program. If your undergraduate degree was conducted in a language other than English, you may be required to provide proof of your English proficiency by submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score.
Step 4: Formal Assessment of Candidacy
4.1) The University will assess your profile, goals, and overall fit for the program in an in-person or phone interview.
4.2) We will also review your English proficiency during the interview.
Step 5: Admissions decision
5.1) You will receive an admissions decision within two weeks, including decisions on any financial assistance applications.
5.2) If you have yet to submit the required documents, you may receive a conditional acceptance.
